Ok so for starters here's my quick overview. (Optional to read)
# 1 Very proud of the end result for Superman, and as all titles here 1, 2, 3, 4, were made by my originality to think of something for this project haha. Though Gurihiru pages here and Captain Marvel come from actual images from their comics, so go check them out and support the actual official sources from these 'fan made edits' of mine.
So yeah I think it blends well with the book cover in hand, I just wished there was an actual blank free comic physical book to use a reference for my background.
Another thing I wished I could change the color of the book to match DC theme of "Blue", but due to my limited knowledge and lack of experience with Adobe still as a whole, I am unable to, yet again still proud of this first section.
# 2 For the second part, Captain Marvel did the same with the re-color panel in adobe, and added random marvel text/'story' context into the book finishing cover as well. Of course not "true" if you look into the actual comic book, I interpreted for what fit well with the illustration by Gurihiru, so you get "Captain Marvel and Shark Friend Adventures!" vibes or something like that shorts.
Advice/feedback to self, I also wished the same as the previous one. To change the book to "Red", as Marvel theme is usually Red. I think it would've been much more eye appealing than this kinda pale/dry look it gives from first glance. Regardless I am happy for working with what I had in mind!
# 3 For Anni Albers, both designs 3, and 4 are re-color with titles added in. I am pleased with the result, though, the image seem to be weird once I uploaded in. I am sure there's an obvious reason and fix for that, but unable at this time to address the matter at this moment.
# 4 Last but not least is "Cake is a Lie" (Let me know if you get the reference, hehe..) by Anni Albers, to avoid typing a 500 screenplay book essay for Hollywood, I am happy with this end result. All and all, for 1, 2 I hoped to change the book background colors in photoshop, refer to #1 as to why I am not able to. While 3, 4 for some odd reason the images are "buffering/blurry/pixelated". Only complaints and drawbacks so far.
Of course there could be more feedback, criticism, or compliments! All is welcome!
